Certification Requirements:
Certification of a dog requires handler and dog pass the AKC Canine Good
Citizen test and additional therapy dog requirements. Creatures and Kids
offers opportunities to train and prepare for tests for AKC Canine Good Citizen
(CGC) certification, and Creatures And Kids Oklahoma Certification (CKOC).
Examinations are performed by qualified and AKC and CKI recognized
examiners.

Equipment
 |
All
tests must be performed on leash. |
 |
Dogs
should wear well-fitting buckle or slip collars made of leather, fabric,
or chain. Special training collars such as pinch collars, head halters,
etc. are not permitted in the CGC test. |

The
owner/handler should bring written proof of rabies vaccines and the
dog's brush or comb to the test. |

Equipment

All
tests must be performed on leash. |

Dogs
must be tested on a buckle collar, or nylon combo collar. All
other animals flat cloth or nylon collar and, leash leather or nylon.
All animals must have completed a veterinary health check (VC), and
return that form to Creatures And Kids before badge is issued to teams. |
