Creatures and Kids Creatures Educate

Don’t leave pets in your car!  Outside temperatures as low as 72 degrees can heat up a car’s interior an average of 40 degrees within an hour, with 80% of that increase in the first 30 minutes. Cracked windows provide little relief from this oven effect.

April 26, 2003 - Creatures Educate

Thanks to all who attended and/or participated in the April 26th Creatures Educate event. Attendance was good, the weather was great, and several dogs and their owners were tested for various types of certification.

Several breeds and a good number of "All American" dogs attended.  Even beautiful rabbits and yearling alpacas where on hand for petting and educational information.

The American Red Cross demonstrated how to give the Heimlich maneuver to your dog if it is choking and how to perform canine and feline CPR.

Vicky tests Mindy and her Australian Terrier Search & Rescue dog, Gero, passes AKC Canine Good Citizenship.  Owner / Handler Kay is so proud!
