CKI Programs

Don’t leave pets in your car!  Outside temperatures as low as 72 degrees can heat up a car’s interior an average of 40 degrees within an hour, with 80% of that increase in the first 30 minutes. Cracked windows provide little relief from this oven effect.

Our Programs Promote Positive Character Qualities

Creatures and Kids offer a variety of program promoting character qualities with help from the animal world.  We can even customize one for a special event or classroom setting.  Programs can be scheduled during the year within the state of Oklahoma.

Audiences - Established programs are tailored for audiences ranging from pre-kindergarten through adult.  We have experience working with Schools, Scout Troops, Religious Groups - Youth and Adult, Libraries, Juvenile Facilities, Civic Organizations and more.  We prefer to limit classroom settings to 30 students or less, however, exceptions will be considered.

Content - Each program focuses on kindness and compassion toward all living things, making the connection between animals needs and our own.  Individual programs address topics, such as pet safety, responsible pet ownership, and the link between animal abuse and other violent crimes.

Customization - The information we provide can be tailored to integrate into your current curriculum, especially those addressing character education.

Length - We offer programs lasting from thirty minutes up to consecutive one-hour presentations. When appropriate certified therapy animals accompany the presenter.

Fee for Service – Programs are offered free of charge; however, donations are greatly appreciated and help provide the funds needed to continue our work.
