Remembrances

Creatures and Kids have several programs for children and young adults. Whether its working with local law enforcement, visiting schools or training homeless dogs for adoption, we continue to look for opportunities to promote self-esteem in our youth and humane treatment toward humans and animals alike.
Youth Working with Animals

Being Aware, Responsible & Kind

B.A.R.K. is a dog bite prevention program to help children learn how to be safe around dogs and enhance the bond between people and dogs.

Working with Animal Rescue Groups

Local animal rescue groups provide the animals for which the youths provide training and care.  The youth learns patience and self-confidence.  The dog learns basic obedience, thereby enhancing the opportunity for a successful adoption.

Educational Outreach

Our programs are based on understanding how animals' and humans' needs are very similar.   Children hear guest speakers from various professions, visit a local animal shelter and learn the importance of being a responsible pet owner.
